Hello, thank you for your interest. A bit about me...I've been separated, subsequently divorced 8 years now. In that time on my own, I've been busy building my career and providing for my child. Now that my career is on track and my daughter is at that pre-teen age (which means her preference is to spend more time with her friends), I have a lot more time to myself. I love my time with her, but also enjoy my own time - we spend more quality time together these days as opposed to quantity. Friends and family would describe me as a calm, practical, level-headed and strong individual with a big heart, yet there's an independent and wild streak in me. I chalk that up to the centaurian (Sagittarius) in me. I do love fun and adventure and am very passionate in all that I do. You should also know I have very low tolerance for narrow-minded, judgmental folks as well as flippant and glib attitudes. I pay a lot of attention to detail and follow the adage, 'if you're going to do it, do it well'. I would love to meet someone I can just hang out with and enjoy gastronomic as well as other experiences with. I love all kinds of food and love to try new things. I am quite a social person, and enjoy having dinner with friends, cooking in or dining out. Other things I enjoy and/or would like to do more of are: travelling, hiking, dancing, new sport activities, catch a show, checking out different cafes/lounges/bars etc., and cuddling up with a special someone. I have a couple of free weekday evenings and some time each weekend open. Although I'm in no rush to play house with someone I meet, I'm also not interested in a casual fling. Integrity, sincerity and openness all lead to trust, which is integral to any kind of relationship; be that a friend or whatever it leads to.
