If you recognized my opening line without having to google it - you're awesome and we'll get along great. I'm a big reader, huge fan of spending hours in Chapters trying to find that one novel that will blow my mind - but an even bigger fan of walking aimlessly downtown somewhere until I find a tiny little shack of a used book store and take home the lonely, coffee stained book I find with no title or description of the story inside. I jump in puddles when it rains, play pianos on beaches, and wrestle my golden retreiver until it's time for a swim in the pond. I'm brand new to the big city, the big province actually and so far I havn't seen big puddles, beaches, or my dog - if you have a big yellow dog, or just love them, and think we might have some chemisty I'm definitely worth a wink or two :)

Am I dipping my toe into a pool of sharks?

Others have described me far more eloquently than I could; some highlights include: Generous, caring, loving, loyal, friendly, passionate, determined...then I realized they just kept saying nice things to keep me buying rounds :) Overall, I will say that I'm a level-headed, career-focused, individual who is looking for someone to share laughs, wine, weekend getaways, and not make fun of the fact that I iron my boxer briefs. You must not be overly judgemental, and you must have compassion and empathy. You must have life goals of your own and know what you want. Career focus is important, as is knowing when to get away from it all. The ability to have a good time no matter what the situation is vitally important. A fun and spontaneous outlook on sex is much appreciated :) Knowing a Montalcino from Montezuma and port (vintage) from starboard is also a decided plus. (I've edited this to take out a few cringe-inducing typos and to just say it is a bit overwhelming doing this for the first time and coming to the realization that perhaps I'm not as hip or confident as I thought I was jumping into this internet pool! Lots of great messages from some of you, but am still dipping my toe in, so to speak!)
